Guests can look forward to 18 different attractions, including a winding river, multidirectional wave pool and variety of raft and body slides. The signature attraction, Krakatau Aqua Coaster, sits in the middle of the park and climbs and drops through a 200-foot volcano. Daredevils can also jump in to the Ko’okiri Body Plunge, a 70-degree drop slide that runs right through the volcano pool.

Inspired by islands of the South Pacific, Volcano Bay’s scenery is a vibrant. Best of all, Volcano Bay has incorporated a convenient enhancement to the traditional water park model. There will be no more waiting in line, mentally calculating how much time you’ve got left. Universal will be introducing the waterproof “TapuTapu,” a wearable that allows you to wait in a virtual line. Just walk up to the totem of the attraction you want to enjoy and tap to receive a return time. Then, go explore more of the park, the “TapuTapu” alerts you when it’s your turn.
