This resort caught our eye with its bowling alley and climbing wall right on the beach. It also features special clubs for kids and teens, plus watersports such as snorkeling, windsurfing and kayaking. Older guests shouldn’t miss the intro-to-scuba pool demonstration and full dive center.

Disney Makeover

Introducing Disney Springs, Orlando’s newest hot spot.

Downtown Disney in Orlando is getting a mega makeover and a new name. Disney Springs will double the number of unique shops, entertainment venues and restaurants to more than 150 choices in four architecturally unique outdoor districts. The beauty of Florida’s lakeside towns in the early 1900s inspired the vision for the three-year transformation. The development will open in phases; the first phase is expected to open in spring of 2015.
